Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw, is well-known British stage and screen actress who became famous after she starred in the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. Gugu made her name by playing Tish Jones on the series by BBC. She was the companion to the main character known as Martha Jones. Chelsea Joy Handler, born February 25, 1975, in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. Handler was one of the six youngest children. Handler's mother was a domestic worker, while her father worked as a used-car dealer. Her mother was a German immigrant who came to this country in United States in 1958. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1989 and passed away after fighting cancer for over ten years. Handler's dad was Jewish and she was brought to Reform Judaism. Handler had a happy and healthy childhood growing up in a well-off community. She moved into Los Angeles when she was at the age of 19 and began in order to explore acting. To support herself, Handler began to work as an actor. Handler aged just 21 years old made the decision to specialize in stand-up comics full time following her discovery of storytelling. The beginning of her career Handler started out her career as a member of the Oxygen network all-female cast for the hidden camera/practical-joke reality television show Girls Behaving in a Bad Way. Between 2002 and 2005 the show was broadcast. The actress began appearing in different shows like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began her career as a journalist for The Tonight Show. Handler gained notoriety in 2006 when she hosted the show on E! Named The Chelsea Handler show. It ran for two seasons. In the following year, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have shown her stand-up comic performance. In 2010, it was announced that she would host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. This made her the only woman to host the VMA's following Roseanne Barr.
